Jeaneane St. John
Prior to co-founding and becoming Managing
Partner of Madison St.John, Jeaneane St. John was Director
of Business Development for Liberty Financial Group, headquartered
in Bellevue, Washington. Prior to that, she worked for numerous
software companies in the Seattle area, focusing on managing
business development and legal affairs.
St. John has a law degree from Seattle
University and her legal focus is on intellectual property
issues. While in law school, St.John helped start a software
company in Redmond, Washington, and was instrumental in writing
business plans, acquiring funding, providing legal strategies,
and developing and closing new business. St.John also gained
experience in the software industry in marketing, operations,
and project management.
St. John sits on the national board of
the Educational Foundation of the American Association of
University Women (AAUW), the largest scholarship and grant
fund for graduate women in the world, helping allocate over
$4 million dollars annually to womens education. She
is also Chair of the Advisory Board for LavaCon, an annual
conference for managers of technical teams and projects.
St. John divides her time between speaking
at conferences and events, and small business consulting.
